University Of Phoenix
Charged me for classes that should have been covered under US DEPT. Ed

Education & Science

The University of Phoenix instructed me to fill out my FAFSA form for Aug. 08-May 09. I was enrolled in classes up until July. They did not tell me to "update" my FAFSA until it was too late, Sept. 10, therefore making ME liable for the $2080 for the two classes i took from May-July.By the time I received the notice, FAFSA had denied my request for student aid for that period. Now I owe UOP $2080 and are refusing to release my Official Transcript until that debt is paid off. I am now attending a local state campus pursuing my BA Psych. But the whole year, plus the $9500 I owe in student loans and the $2080 they claim I owe them is a waste.
I am SO fed up with these people. If anyone can relate, please respond!

The University of Phoenix is the biggest scam I have ever heard of!

Dropped me from classes, in less than one day, and are saying I owe them almost three thousand dollars for classes. All I did was ask them for a form to return my student loan. Arizona
