DAYCARE CONTRACT THE BIG RIPOFF BEWARE Apparently they have all the rights all the power over you and your children and it's legal

I started my son at day care the first day at nap time the provider yelled at him for over an hour because he would not take a nap mind you he is 5. When I showed to pick him up she told me her tale of a bad day right in front of him she said mean things about him.

The next day we showed up, 3 providers on my way thru the center stopped me to say did you hear about the problems we had with your son yesterday? After I dropped him with his class, I went to the director to dicuss what had been said to me yesterday and today. When I said my name she said, did you know we had a problem with your son? I said yes and the provider didn't need to say it in front of him. I said it's obvious this is not going to work here. Can I fill out your form for the 2 week notice of withdrawal that you require?

She said she would talk to the provider. I said I already did and 3 others. We don't need to be in this negative environment. I would like to withdraw. She asked me to follow her to an office where we could talk private because 2 parents had come in.

I followed her but would not allow her to close the door. I said can I have the withdrawal form now. She got loud and rude. I finally said do I need to call the police to get this done? She started screaming the police the police as she's jumping around the room and then she threw her self across a desk lunging for the phone and dialed 911 screaming into the phone and crying like she had just been beaten up.

I'm still sitting in the same chair. I was shocked and amused! After 10 min I got up and got my son and came back to the office where she was still screaming and crying in to the phone. We left after watching her for a few min.

We've called for a refund she called the police. They just laugh when we called to ask what was going on. The report was filed that night by a different person I don't know. It also didn't make any sence no charges filed. They never even called to talk to me.

This must happen here all the time I thought to my self. I called the owner to tell her what happened she said she didn't want to hear my side she only believed her director, which turns out is her sister. So I took it to court to get a refund of unused tuition money.

To my surprise the standard contract we all fill out for their services did not say anything about their needing the 2 week notice. All it says in general is they have all the rights all the power over you and your children and it's legal.

I lost in court. I will not put my self thru the lies of the standard contract again or thru the abuse they put my son thru. That realy limits what a parent can do for work with no safe child care center in my commnity. And probably not in yours either. Old fashion care is the safest a friend a relative or someone in your home. Put in security cameras!
