Abc Mail Order Distribution ripoff! Cheap merchandise, misleading advertising, overpriced freight charges, terrible customer service. Miami

This company misleads its customers to believe they will receive quality, reasonably-priced merchandise. Their catalogs show nice photos of merchandise attractively displayed. However, what you'll receive is merchandise in shoddy condition, made with cheap materials, and shipped in as many different boxes as they can manage to break your order up into.

I found that the freight equaled to greater than half of the actual purchase price of the merchandise each of the two times I ordered from abc. Once, ordering over the internet, they sent me two duplicate orders then hassled me trying to make me pay freight for both orders even though I refused one of them. Then, I ended up returning 2 of the 3 items I ordered because their quality was much lower than I expected.

I decided to give them another chance and ordered again. They sent me (again broken up into several boxes and a large freight charge) the wrong item completely along with some other items that I was not completely satisfied with, but didn't feel like facing the hassle for replacement. I called, waited on hold for almost 30 minutes, then when I got a person & explained the problem was transferred to someone else. I explained it AGAIN and was put on hold. Finally, I was told the merchandise would be picked up and they would send the correct item. Well, they picked up the wrong item (I later had to call to complain that I was still being charged for the freight for THAT item AGAIN!) When I got the new shipment, they'd sent me the same wrong item AGAIN.

I called again, after going through the tedious phone system and holding again, told them to pick up the item and close my account. Enough said. You can decide for yourself if you want to do business with a ripoff-artist company like abc distributing.
