Mortgage FALSE PROMISES, we are so stressed

My husband and I are over 50 years old and have never owned a home.

We were contacted by phone by Bernard Cline from Money Tree Mortgage, Olathe Kansas, telling us that we "pre-qualified" for a $78,000 mortgage. He then asked for a $300.00, which we gave him and he told us that the process would take approximately 3-4 weeks and we would be in our new home. That was back in May.

It is now November and our application just went to the underwriter. We have been tyring to speak with someone since May, but there is usually, no one there or they are in meetings and will call us back, which never happens. We did speak to a Shatae at one time, telling us that we needed to re-send the 30 page application.

We are so stressed that we suffer from headaches. We hope we can help stop someone else from getting hurt.
