The university of Phoenix online tried to make me take classes that I did not need to take. I had taken those same GEN ED classes (which were only a way to suck you in). While attending my third class, I was snatched out of the system and told I was going to have to take algebra all over again. I had taken upper level math classes and could not understand why.

As for the transcripts, they neglected to even get my transcripts sent to the school telling me not to worry about it. When I told them That I was quitting because of a family emergency they had no heart and wanted me to sign up for a class that I was unable to atttend. I told them I was not able to attend the class, but they told me that if I did not register for the class the money would be sent back to the lender.

I said I would rather pay the lender than let them take money from me for a class that I was not going to attend. What it boiled down to is the uop online wanted to continue receiving my financial aid even after I had quit school. If this isn't a rippoff, you tell me what it is.
