6:45 am: Be the first person in the office to do all of the jobs that the lazy manager does not want to do. This inclues cleaning the bathroom, taking out the garbage, vacuuming, etc. (If one takes such pride in owning his own company and everything that entails, wouldn't keeping it clean be pretty high on the priority list. Or even better, if he is so "financially free" why can't he hire cleaning service?) OH OH, don't get your suit dirty either, presentation is everything... Don't want to be yelled at for that as well.

7:15 am: Leaders meeting-everyone in the office!!! Here we will learn the deception strategies to keep the "new guys" from "dusting." only if we are not getting yelled at for not being excited enough the evening before in "atmosphere." (for those of you fortunate enough not to know what atmosphere is... It is a required, unpaid part of the evening where everyone hangs out the lobby and goes over the positive parts of our day.

GOD FORBID you have to leave for any reason... You will be publicly humiliated at the managers discretion.) If "atmosphere" went well; it rarely did, we learn scare tactics to practice on our new guys. Advice from the manager included "getting" with your guys outside of work to avoid "sticky situations" in which they might be leading outside lives of their own. Any contact that could not be controlled or monitored from within the company was considered lethal to one's opportunity.

8:00 am: Time for teaching WOO HOO! This is the part where you go into the back room chant, yell and cheer (to make sure everyone is awake and excited) and fill everyone's heads with the standard bullshit. I.E. How no one can get ahead unless they are a part of this business, how the "simple system" is the only way to achieve what you want in life, and how deviating from this system and failing to believe and follow everything that is taught by the manager makes you a bad person undeserving of professional success.

YAY!"Meetings" are mini motivational speeches given by the manager punctuated by cheering and yes MORE CHANTING that resemble the very inspiring cult practices. Constant references to well known figures and their successes based on previous failures were made to encourage even the lowest person on the totem pole (probably making under $100/week for roughly 60 hrs. Of work) to keep giving it their all, because if they did it, so can you!!! JUICE BY YOU

9:00 am: time to hit the field WA-BAAM!!! But not before you fight to take out a second round interview. (These poor fools have no idea the shit they are about to witness.) We take them out on a "day of observation" to show them "the hard work side of what we do" which is a load of crap, because it is ALL WE EVER DO!!! Knock knock knock knock... All day every day in the rain, snow, sleet, hail, dangerous heat, sick, broken leg, whatever it may be... We're out there.

Cold calling door to door sales trying to get people to buy whatever crap we are pushing that day. This goes on until it is time to go back to the office-and if you don't have a good day, prepare youself because you are going to be one hell of an actor when you get back. "How was your day today Johnny?" "OUTSTANDING!" when in reality Johnny made nothing that day and all he wants to do is go home, get drunk, and curse off his manager.

The goal of the day is to come back excited; ring the stupid bell (make $100 which is still nothing when you are working 12 hour days) Settle up whatever shit you made for money that day and go home without getting yelled at for any of the tiny things you could do by accident that are HUGE mistakes for "your business."

In other words swallow the bullshit, spread it to as many people you can and for f* sake GO OUT AND MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!
