Dan Thomason signed us up for "a new program limited to a select few proteges" he was going to personally coach individually. Within the first two weeks he changed it to group phone coaching with 5-6 people per call.

I demanded a private line with him to bring this up, and when I did, he asked, "What's the difference whether I coach you individually or with 5-6 others?" I said, "1/5 the time, and more competition to get my questions answered." "Frankly, I'm busy doing multi-million dollar deals, " he huffed condescendingly. "I've got more important things to do than spend my time coaching people individually." I told him I understand, but you were the one who drew up your own contracts offering the individual coaching!

After we were signed up, Dan changed the rules, requiring us to "enroll in an excellent educational program providing top notch educational materials" at a cost of $200 monthly. Little did we know at the time, but Dan was actually signing us up for a multi-level-marketing program called Nouveau Riche, and making money off our enrollment. Because we were not signing up voluntarily and directly, Dan had his "ranch hands" take our credit card information in order to sign us up.

I got disillusioned with the lack of integrity Dan displayed in changing the individual coaching to group and we agreed that I would no longer participate in the program.

In the process I had to disentangle myself from the enrollment with Nouveau Riche. When I described to Nouveau Riche how Dan had made enrollment with NR mandatory, and had taken our credit cards to do the enrollment for us, NR said they were not aware Dan was doing this, and mandatory enrollment was against their policies. They immediately severed ties with Dan Thomason.

I am lucky I spotted a rat at the beginning. Some of my colleagues weren't so lucky.

One fellow investor said Dan allowed a client to go into foreclosure and lose her home because he didn't follow through on his promises to her, even though he'd been leading her on for over a year.

The investor said Dan didn't follow through on promises to the client, and also on continuing promises to do joint venture deals with fellow investors, despite the fact that he had millions of dollars with which to do as he pleased.

Dan Thomason is a total narcissist with no regard for anyone but himself. He feels no obligation whatsoever to live up to any agreements, contracts, commitments or promises he makes, so do not trust him. Don't let the down-home Texas cowboy accent and getup fool you. Behind his sugary smile lies a dangerous, calculating man.
