Ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing

I had a similar thing happen to me that happened to everyone else as far as I can tell. I made the mistake of allowing my fiance' to use my visa on u-bid to make a purchase. Unbeknownst to me, he also agreed to some questsavers thing which I had most definitly not authorized.

I discovered the charge of 8.95 to my account and found that it had been charged too by this company questsavers. I called to let them know that this charge was without my authorization which was obvious.

They had my name as it appeared on the card as Julie Lowney which is false. It should be Julie Anne Seaquist! So I am being charged under a false name as well as without my consent.

The guy I spoke with on the phone was a pretty damn good telemarketer, he talked me into agreeing to receive info via mail showing me all of the savings I would be missing out on. I figured it couldn't hurt to see some info, maybe I could "save" some of my money back. So I agreed, if they would send me some info I would agree to keep my membership until it arrived and I could make an educated decision.

Suprise suprise! I never got any information via anything and they continued to charge my account.in my mind they didn't fullfill the terms of the oral contract which had been made previously.

I have called to cancel once and for all but this is a shady situation also. They are almost impossible to reach, their website is unavailable currently and their call center must be vary popular because I was put on-hold for over an hour!

Bottom-line questsavers is definitely a rip-off!!
