Sylvan Scams Children... Mankato

My son needed some extra help during the summer. We contacted sylvan learning center for a little guidance. Melissa campion, the center director said it would take apx. 36 hours to met his goal. But you have to pay for 60 hours and then we will reimburse you for the remainder.
Because it was for education and i thought sylvan was a good name, we paid for 60 hours of tutoring. After 24 hours of tutoring, sylvan learning center decided to give no notice and close the door and do the cowardly thing of filing bankruptcy.
Our son was devastated that the "tokens" he earned he is not going to use.
We paid for him to improve a grade in 36 hours and that goal is not met.
We feel that we have been stole from. I know people do things like this everyday, but to do it to a child that just wants to better himself, you should be ashamed of yourself.
I guess sylvan learning center did teach us something... Don't go their!!!
