Saved from a ripoff

I am a disabled person and need some extra income. I came across an ad in our local newspaper regarding stuffing envelopes, earn money from the comfort of home. I called the number, they asked for my name, address and said they would send an information packet in about two weeks. It showed up earlier, but with hardly any information. Same as the others I've read I am suppose to send $30 $5 s/h and they would send my addressed and stamped envelopes.

Good thing I decided to look this company up on the internet. I'm so sorry that there have been some people who lost money on this scam but I certainly appreciate the information. I can't afford to lose even $35.00.

What can we do to stop this company? I plan to send the information I found about this company to the newspaper that carried the ad. I don't know if they can refuse to publish this ad or not but I will keep trying so other people won't get hurt.
