"AKA" Best Buy Ripoff of advertisment, fraudulant billing, outrageous intrest, no customer services & Columbus Ohio

Four years ago, Best Buy offered 0 payments for 6-months, No intrest for 6-months. I was at the time looking for a new car stero system, and decicded to utilize this promotion to purchase my new car stero system.

Best buy approved me for this card with a two-thousand dollar limit. Over the next few months I would recieve a bill with a zero dollar amount in the due box, and a promotional pay off offer, but no bill due. When I recieved the bill that following December, I had a bill of 95 dollars due and a percentage rate of 0% to 21.98%. Where did this come from.

Calling the customer service line was no help, no information provided to me but that it was my responsibility to pay the bill. No where in writing did it state that I would have after 6-months a daily intrest rate of 21.98%. I also had a bill date due of the 20th, if a bill was recieved in their hands and posted on the 21st a finance charge would double in dollar amounts and a late fee of $29.00 would be applied. Even if I mailed the payment to them with sufficent time of delivery.

There was no way of having percentage rates reduced no matter how you proved to be efficent with your account on paying. No matter when I sent the bill it reported as not arriving to them until the 21st or 22nd. So my bill would always have an abundance amount in finance charges on top of $29.00 late fees. Customers have no way to contact them by phone to pay the bill with out an additional charge, nor can I even go to Best Buy.com and enter my account to pay on line. They state my account is unrecongnizable. Even though my bill has Best Buy logo on the bill sent to me.

GE Capital Cons Cardco has ripped me off for the past four years on intrest charges and late fees.
