I worked there until I realized it was a scam. False promises rip-off

I was hired by EModel about two years ago. When they hired me, I wanted a photographer's job and they told me I had to start as a scout before I could be promoted so I decided "what the heck?"

Now, I was driving from Morris County to Princeton EVERYDAY and waiting for the magic promotion. I should have known right there that it was a scam. So unknowingly, I worked there for a little bit and as I was there longer and longer, I realized that there was something very suspicious about this place. Finally, they let me sit in for a casting after 2 weeks and I learned really quick. They only told us certain things to say to potential models but didn't want us to know what happened behind closed doors.

I found out that after most of these hopefuls traveled 30 miles only to hear either that they weren't good enough or that they "had to pay $575.00 THAT NIGHT." If they didn't pay that night, supposedly they would lose their chance. Alot of young girls lost money by thinking that they had a big opportunity and they paid the money and became another file on their 700 page web site.

Please if you are approached, tell them you know they are a scam and that they just want your money. Take it from someone who was on the inside, they play dirty and they are full of lies!
