A notebook computer was ordered from the company, along with a car adapter for the computer. The notebook was a special sale, and was the only one left, according to the salesperson. Further, the sales rep told me that an extra battery cost $125, when it is available on their web site for $100.

When the unit arrived, there was no packing slip and no car adapter. Also, the unit's battery had to be calibrated, and the company that sold the unit could not help. I had to call the manufacturer. The manufacturer stated that no new notebook needs to be calibrated with the battery, and that the unit is probably refurbished.

Nothing on any part of the sale stated this item was refurbished. And because of that, the company will not take this item back because it says it was opened. No where in the printed return policy does it state anything about that. And still the car adapter has not arrived and the computer is even crashing on certain applications.

To top it all off, the company will not take the item back for repair stating that it must be sent to the manufacturer. They will not provide me with technical support, nor will they allow me an exchange for a similar item. Any suggestions on what to do next are appreciated.
