Ripoff fraudulent ripoff business screwed others too

I signed up for a trial period of MWI Privacy Plus on March 14. After three weeks of not receiving an information packet I called to cancel so I would not be billed $139.95.

I WAS billed though, on 4/24/03. I called the company and they claimed that I never cancelled and that all of their transactions were documented. Maybe it was the foreigner that I talked to that didn't speak english—I don't know. I asked for a supervisor and eventually got one. I told her that I had just paid bills for the month (mortgage, 2 car payments and utilities) and ended up with getting hit with bounced check fees and negative balance fees in the total of $208. I don't have that kind of extra money! She told me to fax in a copy of my bank statement (with the charges marked) and I would get them back.

Even though I DID get the $139.95 back (on 4/29/03), they refuse to pay for the $208 in fees incurred because of the incompetence.
The OverDraft Specialist (impressive title eh? I didn't think so either)—Lindsey Rookstool told me that it was on their website that they could not refund these fees. As I spoke to her I looked it up and there was no such waiver—there was absolutely NOTHING there. I told her and she told me she'd email me a copy. It's been well over a week and I haven't seen that either.
These people need to be taken down. They sell a service to protect and then scam you.

What is so special about these idiots that they can steal and get away with it? I really need help on this one and I'm not the only one there are many other rip off sites with the same company all over it! Please pass this on to EVERY web site available.
