I applied for a credit card on-line. About a week later this lady with a heavy accent calls me and tells me that I'm approved for a credit card of my choice with a $7,500 credit limit. Like a total idiot, I believed her and gave her all the information that I needed.

She told me that I needed to void a check for the price of the activation fee and they would automatically take the money out of my checking account on the set date which was April 18. That was also the date that I was supposed to receive my card. But I never received my card and the money was taken out of my account.
