Strategy Career Courses Medical Billing And Coding Program Fraudulent Debit Card Charge

My credit card number was stolen a few weeks ago. One of the charges was to something called "ONLINE EDU" in Utah. Since I promptly disputed the charge, the bank canceled the card number. Just yesterday, I received a debt collection notice from the law office of Mark H. Gould, Bar #4237. This was an attempt to collect a $299.97 course fee for Strategy Career Courses Medical Billing and Coding Program.in addition, they added $150 in attorney fees and $75 in collection fees, for a grand total of $524.97. Mr. Gould's offices are located in Utah. I assume that this attempted collection is linked to the fraudulent charge.

I have written a response to this barrator to dispute these charges.in addition, I have asked him to send all information that his client has regarding this charge. I reminded him that, as an officer of the court, he has a duty to cooperate in this investigation of fraud and identity theft. I did not include the fact that he was disciplined by the Utah State Bar in 2004.

Has anybody else had similar experiences with this guy? How did you respond? What happened?
