T-Mobil ripped off and scammed

Education & Science

About 10 days ago I seen a T-Mobile ad for a free phone and a good rate plan for service on the internet. I called them on the phone and talked to someone (a man) and explained to him what I had seen on the internet.

I told him the reason I called instead of filling out the forms online was that as I had been unemployed for several months and that my credit was not the best and that I heard they would require a deposit.

At that time he said that he thought that maybe that he could get me service without a deposit so I gave him all the info that he asked for including my bank card number which was understood not to be used unless I recieved service with no deposit.

Two days later I recieved a letter requiring a deposit. I again called and asked how much and they told me $ 500.00 at which time I told them to forget the whole thing.

A couple days later I recieved 2 e-mails. One from Inphonic who said they had shipped my phone and another from a company named Liberty Wireless who said they had deducted $110.69 from my account for services with an phone area code of 740 and not 419 where I live.

They also said that they used sprint as there primary wireless service. I live in a small town and sprint does not even service this city. Their plan was not even close to the one T-Mobile had bit my main point is this.

How can T-Mobile get by with giving out my bank card number to companies I have never heard of or in fact dam sure never authorized to take money from my account.

T-Mobile was not even authorized to deduct anything unless I recieved service from them with no deposit. I would also like to know if there is a possible lawsuit against T_mobile and possibly Liberty Wireless for taking money without authorization.
