I recently applied at the university of phoenix. I was supposed to start on 12-8-08.

I started reading all of the complaints about the company and decided against starting. Part of my decision was that I found out how much they really charge for tuition. I did not find out from the counselor, oh no, they made it sound a lot lower.
My girlfriend attends this school. Turns out she had no idea that she was paying over $500 per credit hour. So after I found out the truth, I tried to withdraw. I filled out their withdraw form which you will not find. I faxed it to the financial advisor Karen Deman and the academic counselor Kena Ray. Then karen sends me an email saying that she didn't receive it. She said she would ask kena if she did. Here is her email:

Shoot! I deleted it because I assumed Karen had a copy and I don't process withdrawal forms. Brent, it looks like you may have faxed it to Karen backwards (since it was blank). Can you please fax it to her again? Thanks, and sorry about that J
