Apollo Group - Axia College And University Of Phoenix
Financial Aide Scam!

I started attending Axia College, a part of the University of Phoenix, to get my bachelors degree in Accounting. I attended the school for approximately 1 year when I found out that there accreditation was not what I though that it was. I proceeded to seek out other educational establishments. I informed the University of Phoenix that I would not be enrolling in their program after my classes were finished. The least day of my courses, I was not able to log into my classes due to technical difficulties. I contacted my instructors via email to let them know that I was having a problem getting into the schools web site and submitted my final assignments through private email. The University of Phoenix used that as an excuse to withdrawal/Fail me from those courses, resulting in my financial aide being resent and a bill of $1909.00 being sent to me to pay out of pocket. They are now giving me 60 days to pay the balance in full before they report it to all of the credit agencies that I am at default which I found out will have negative recourse on my financial aide for the School I am now attending.

This establishment has been nothing but dishonest to me from day one! They never explained to me that my degree that I would receive from them would not be worth the money that I would be paying. They also did not explain that my tuition would be more than doubling after I finished a certain amount of credits. There system is constantly having problems that prevent students from being able to log into class, and what is the worst is that no matter how many messages that I left for my Financial aide counselor, I NEVER received a call back.
