Sometime in the beginning of January, I was surfing the internet when I came across a trial offer for a free LaPavoni coffee grinder and some coffee bean samples from Smiles Coffee for $9.95 and to my understanding no other obligations to follow.

Enclosed in the original trial order box was only one paper labeled Manual Pick Ticket stating the enclosed items and nothing else. As of February 7, I still had not finished taste testing the coffee beans of various flavors in order to decide whether or not I wanted to place an additional order of any kind.

Yesterday, while going over my bank account online, I noticed a debit deduction of $36.94 on February 7 with the name of debit payable to Smiles Coffee and a toll free #888 745 9803nv.

Immediately, I tried calling the toll free #, only to be left extremely angry due to the fact that nothing occurred after dialing. I then dug up the box received containing the trial offer, which had another toll free #866 663 0360 that I also dialed and once again the same thing occurred (nothing happened after dialing the #).
At this point, I grew even more upset.

I continued to do more research on the internet and eventually I located a web address for a site titled "Smiles Coffee Ripoff" that listed several letters of complaint that stated almost identical complaints to mine.

I then wrote a letter stating my complaints and concerns forwarding it to Smiles Coffee, MSN, AOL, Earthlink, Sprint, Consumer complaint, Adecco, Xsorbit, Internet Explorer, and Usa Consumer Complaints.com. Also, I then completed a consumer rip off report and submitted it on behalf of the situation I now find myself in as well as who knows how many others.
