Billing me for class never attended

Family decision for my son to withdraw from SFSU due to financial difficulties. Son neglected to drop one class that he signed up for in the spring to be taken in the fall of by the deadline.

SFSU billed me for the class in excess of $1,200.00 My son filed the Petition for Waiver of Financial Regulations and was denied. I have informed SFSU that I will NOT pay for this class. They threatened me with reports to the IRS and Credit bureaus if payment is not made.

I am current with my student loans and have every intention of paying it in full as I do all my obligations. I cannot and will not stand by for this cavalier and callous attitude especially during the worst financial crisis this country has faced in modern time
