Guaranteed approval for platinum card for $5,000, mail in $45 processing fee, however no phone number, website, or contact to inquire about any questions...

I received an Acceptance Certificate guaranteed approval for a Consumer First Platinum Card for $5,000.00. It states "This is not a maybe we already have a reserved card in your name."

In order to receive this card they are requesting a $45.00 fee and upon receipt of payment the card will be sent out. This certificate states "to see terms and conditions" however this was not included with the Acceptance Certificate mailing.in addition there is no contact name, telephone number, or website to inquire about any questions you may have regarding this offer. This immediately drew a red flag.

I've never heard of any company not providing customer service correspondence information. After doing research on this To Good to be true offer I have found that there is an endless amount of testimonials that this is a "Ripoff". Thank goodness I have the resources and the intelligence to check things such as this out.

I urge anyone to not fall into this trap. You should never, never have to pay for a credit card upfront. I'm not legal savvy however I have read somewhere that this is not a traditional way of doing business. I will definately provide any information that would be valuable should this come to a class action lawsuit
