Rip off, rip off, rip off

My Grandaughter wanted to be a runway model. She was told by the employees of JRP that she has a "natural beauty" and would go "far." She "won" the right to go to IPOP, where she won "Top 10 Swimsuit model." Not bad for over 3,800 kids who were there. Problem being, there are NO runway models who are 8 years old. JRP convinced my daughter that she needed to go to IPOP in Las Vegas to be "seen." We did exactly that, to the tune of over $10,000.00!!! Several movie companies were interested in her, but they wanted her to ACT in a movie, NOT model. She did not want to act and the employees of JRP knew this because they were told this on numerous occasions. Bottom line, my daughter spent an outlandish amount of money for something JRP should have told her not to do. They make IPOP appear that only the "best of the best" are invited, when in actuality it's who is stupid enough to cough up the money. My daughter spent over $24,000.00 with JRP in less than a year to pursue my grandaughters dream, that turned out to be a financial nightmare. Yep, we were the dumb ones, but JRP preys on people who are willing to help their children succeed and follow their dreams. Thank God my grandaughter is a very well rounded child and saw JRP for who they really are, vultures!!!

By-the-way, there is a class action lawsuit against JRP Santa Clara. They abruptly closed their offices in Santa Clara and have relocated to Old Oakland Road, in San Jose. Just in case, anyone is looking for them!!!
