Harrison Career Institute
Harrison filed for loans in my name when I wasn't even attending!

Back in 2002 when I graduated from highschool I enrolled in Harrison Career Institute for the Medical Office program. I attained financial aid during the maybe 3 months that I attended at the time I was pregnant with my first child. Needless to say I left school to prepare for the birth of my child. I was aware that I owed the school $742 for the time I was there.

However what I was not aware of is that they continued to receive federal funding after I had left the program. They say I signed a promisery note in 4 for a second loan of ironically the same figure give or take. Impossible I know for a fact I gave birth on 3/28/03 and was actualled employed full time during the time I allegedly "signed" the note.

I am currently a student at CHI Institute and am very happy with the educational experience I am currently experiencing it is above and beyond my expectations. I am also not available for financial aid because of the student loan I never signed for that is currently in default. I am currently on a payment arrangement for the $742 loan that I am aware that I signed for however I will fight to dispute the other balance for the money that the school fradulently obtained.
