Lied to me on when my financial aid refund check was to be sent to me

My financial aid advisor called me on september 22. She told me at this time my financial aid refund should have already been sent to me. On september 24 nothing changed on my account and I emailed her asking her about what was going on with my account. She called me on september 25 she told me that it was going to be another 7-10 days before they do anything. I asked her why did she tell me that they should have already sent me my refund? Her response was that I was putting words in her mouth. I then told her that the school has held my money since July 23 and she told me that after I finished my two classes on September 7 and my grades was posted for the two classes which they were posted on September 10 if what she is saying is true then they should have processed it on September 17 and they should have sent out my refund. She said no you are twisting my words around. I told her now I wasn't do you want me to play it back for you on my tape recorder?

She said no with a very long pause. After our conversation was over she told me that I could call the DEAN if, I wanted to. I said ok what is the number and she refused to give me the phone number to the DEAN. I know for a fact that the school collects interest on student loans and the school tries to keep the money as long as they can because, they do collect interest on student loans. She tried to tell me that the school does not collect interest on student loans that the lender collects interest on the loans. I told her how could the lender collect interest on the student loans when the funds is in the schools bank account? She had no answer. I told her that the interest the lender collects is from the students when they pay back there loans. She still had no response.

I asked her about my other student loans that at to be posted to my account. I checked the status on my loans and they were to be disbursted on September 15 and to this very day they have not posted them to my account. This like the 3rd or 4th time this has happend to me at this school and I am really considering of dropping out and going to another school. Can't a lawyer see that this is extortion and abuse of student financial aid funding.
