False advertising at sears

I went to sears cross county store in yonkers new york today 3/11 with a circular advertising philips magnavox 4 head vcr for $59.99. So help me i was there when the store opened and was immediately told that the item was "sold out" they then tried the switch and bait but i said no! I asked for a raincheck and was refused siting their reason that the item was "on order". I asked if they could call another sears close buy to see if they had it in stock, but was refused. What the heck is sears problem? Does it think that all consumers are stupid and will fall for their lies? I have contacted the bbb as well as the attorney generals office concerning this deceptive form of advertisement
