I was on the inside long enough to see their operation before I quit out of disgust

I went to work for AIU as an 'Admissions Advisor' which was really a salesperson. We were required to stick to the script word for word. We told people that they would have to be approved by the selection committee and the 'dean of admisions'. There was no selection committee. Anyone who completed the application and paid the tuition was accepted. The 'dean of admissions' was just my sales manager.

On one particular push to enroll students, one of my prospects was hesitating to complete the sign up form. On the last day of enrollment for that semister, I left the call center after informing my 'dean' that this one had not signed up as we had expected him to (every single prospect was micro-managed). The next morning when I came in to work, this person's paperwork was on my desk completed and e-signed. I knew that something was wrong because I knew that this prospect's phone service went out and with it his ability to get online to complete the app and e-sign it. Also, I was unable to log on to my computer as my password had been changed.

I got access and checked the logs and found that the forms had been e-signed using MY COMPUTER the prior evening after I had left work. They were so desperate to sign this guy up they FORGED HIS E-SIGNATURE, AND THEY USED MY COMPUTER TO DO IT! I went to my 'dean' and told him what had happened, and his only concern was saving the deal!

After getting hold of the client at his work to confirm that he did in fact not sign up, I turned everything regarding this case over to personnel along with my resignation.

Let me tell you, all the other stuff you are reading about this place in other reports is all true. Shortly after I quit, AIU lost their accredidation.
