They were an online universty which got you loans and sent you your syllabus and then they went out of business. I am paying a Salie Mae Loan loan that I did not get anything for

I am paying a Sallie Mae loan for an education that I did not get. At first there were books, talks, chats, telephone calls, then it all stopped excep that I still have to pay the loan. I need to find out how it can be stopped they were the ones that accepted the school. They should have been able to say something they are the ones giving the loans.
