Empty promises

Education & Science

OK, i just received one of those email advertisements from this company (www.processathome.com), and when I checked here to investigate it further, I found all these complaints and disputes filed by previous customers.

I've also read the rebuttals filed by company representatives, and I must say that they are extremely UNimpressive —

First of all, they (like the online advertisements themselves) are full of errors in English grammar. Now, poor writing may not be a big deal when it's a simple informal email to a friend, but when you're representing a company you should at least take the trouble to check your spelling and grammar. Such obvious, repeated errors give us the impression you're either a foriegn and very possibly offshore SCAM — (which your multiple, confused and/or hidden addresses certainly indicate!)
— Or, demonstrates sloppiness and carelessness —

— In any case, NONE of these are qualities that one wants to see in a company in which one invests money!

Secondly, merely repeating the phrase "We certainly are a legitimate company" does NOT make it so — you must BEHAVE like one.

IF indeed you were a reputable, "legitimate" company, you would not WAIT to be contacted by these customers, you would NOT require them to jump through various, innumerable "hoops" to receive the "guarantees" you PROMISED them, and you would NOT defend outrageously unethical, indefensible business practices —

You would make every effort to CONTACT THEM immediately and RECTIFY these problems.

The fact that you have not done so, makes all your guarantees, promises and disputes sound meaningless, even manipulative.

In short, when you've taken care of these customers and rectified their problems and complaints, I might be interested in dealing with you —

But until then — do NOT bother me or my email box again!
