Gives a whole new meaning to self service

So they put me on SAP (Student Academic Probation) even though I had a GPA of 2.5 which was miscalculated as 1.2, however possible that was. Financial aid halted, whee.
Problem cited and resolved the week after on 03/20/08.

Next, my refund checks which usually arrive on time in the right mail box didnt this time. Why? Seems when they updated my records and Degree Navigator, someone entered my address incorrectly. No problem right? I had them update my address. Still, no refund check to help with gas and overall living cost.

04/20/08. Turns out since the check couldnt find my house, they credit it back to my account. Yeah, itll do really good there. I already owe like $34,000 already. Called Pomona and spoke to an advisor and it she basically said I was screwed and if a check doesnt reach your house, its marked as a processing error and credited back to your account. This is not reversible.

Prevention? Make sure your shit is updated each month. Their system is pretty idiot proof, but only if these idiots enter the data correctly. Dont both using the Student E-mail Support System, theyre just as clueless and useless.
