Company rips off small school's grant money!

I'm a physics teacher at a small high school and won grant money from the state of Arkansas. I was to use the grant money for my student's electric go-cart project. As part of the project, we needed to buy lithium batteries.

I saw Matt Hotch Designs being featured on a TV show on Discovery channel and checked out their website. I assumed they were a good company since they were on one of my favorite channels and ordered $800 worth of lithium batteries from them using my grant money.

However, after 8 months of not receiving the batteries, requesting a refund of my grant money, and still getting excuses, I've had to make an official complaint with our local law firm.

My students have the go-cart complete but are unable to drive it or even see if it works since we do not have batteries.

What kind of company rips off a school?
