Settlement payment taken early twice, account overdrawn

Stan called me and offered me a settlement for a credit card on which I was very late. I accepted the settlement, and we arranged for two payments to come out of my account at the very end of two different months. Both months, Stan took the money early and put my account into the negative.

When I called to discuss what could be done, Stan was very rude. He told me that it was all my fault. I was making an effort to correct my credit and pay the money that I owed, and he told me off! He later agreed to credit my account with the first payment because he had made the mistake. At the end of the first month, I received two checks in the mail to reimburse me for the fees and for the credit to my account.

At the very beginning of the next month, Stan took out the money and put my account into the negative again. This time he told me that he never said he would credit my account for the previous mistake, and that since they were charged money for my account, I would have to send a money order payment in order to be reimbursed for the fee I was charged. So my bank covered the amount that was taken out, and I was charged a fee, but Stan said there was no proof of them receiving the money, and until there was, there was nothing they could do. He refused to let me speak to his manager and did not give me the correct number or extension of his boss.
