I received a call from this company today (3/28) - they said that I am offered gift cards because my number got selected in some scheme running at Wal-mart. I welcomed their offer of two gift card, but then I was suspicious of this company. I googled for Easy Saver and all I found was complaints about this company. From the accent of the speaker I can easily tell the call was from India. They told me that the gift cards will be mailed from LA. So, I guess, Easy Saver is an LA based company but I have no idea about their location. I should have made more inquiries (sometime we stop thinking when all we see is free money).

This company is tagged as a fraud from quite a long time. Question is "Why hasn't a concerned authority not banned this company from doing business?" Is complaining on the internet any useful?

Can anybody name me the authority where I can complain to ban this company? There is one other company that I know is a fraud and I want to ban that too. However, it makes sense to go ahead through this channel only if it actually works. Prior to this I had once tried a government website (in India) to register complains but that did not yield any result. The website was on the similar lines of ripoffreprt.com
