Grant Master
I was lured by Grant Master for a FREE ($1.99 S&H) CD & never received it. Then

My bank alerted me when they sent me my FIRST overdraft concerning charges to my account by Grant Master. When I called them I was informed about the "terms & conditions", I had supposedly accepted. I was then instructed on how to download the program ONLINE! So what was the $1.99 for? Adding insult to injury, Grant Master suddenly cost me $39.95, $1.99 plus $30.00 overdraft.

The person I spoke to told me I could cancel, but could not get my $39.95 back and encouraged me to go ahead and use my account for the month that I paid for and I could then cancel by 4/12/08. On a couple of occasions she kept encouraging me to take advantage of the "Grant A Day" program right away.

When I initially called, I explained I was encouraged to take advantage of the website and I could avoid being charged another monthly fee if I cancelled by 4/12/08. NOW I discover... ANOTHER $1.00 charged to my account on 3/12/08 and ANOTHER $ 7.95 charged to my account on 3/24!!! For what???

Don't they understand or care that that $1.00 cost me another $30.00 in bank charges? And the 7.95 cost me $30.00 in overdraft fees? That because of these charges I'm now -$113 just for agreeing to check out a FREE PRODUCT?

Something is VERY wrong here, when a company can do this to anyone. More specifically, a senior on SSI, which means (to those of you that can still work) I get money ONCE a month and it is less than you make in a week.

I'm not sure how to handle this, but it seems to me if I can't get some help from someone, I'm going down! March overdrafts are eating up my entire April check before I can spend a dime for a roof over my head and some toilet paper. Please... Can someone... Anyone... Help me?
