My 89 year old mum who lives in a retirement village received a letter from euro millones lottery s. L - in spain - informing her that due to a mix up of numbers and names from a draw dated jan 25 08, the release of the results was made on march 5.

They give her a ticket number, the numbers drawn and inform her that she has won six hundred and fifteen thousand eight hundred & ten euros - that she needs to contact don mario lucas manager of metropolice security company s a on 0034 625 753 860 to start her claim of which they keep 10%. Claims close 31 march 08.

Quote from letter: due to mix up of some numbers and names, we ask that you keep this award information strictly from public notice bla bla bla as this is part of our security protocol to avoid unwarranted abuse of this program by unscrupulous individuals

I guess it takes one to know one. All thieves think others steal! Disgusting.

They include a form for her bank details. She is one of 50 living in a retirement home. How did they get her name & address details - this is really sick - hope the crooks get caught.

Thank god for the internet, it has allowed me to visit this website & read a complaints report about the same company, thus confirming my doubts.
