Child Support Enforcement - Supportkids
Pickup an old (10yrs. Old) writ for my 26and31yr. Old and is garnishingmy pay for 17,000.00 in interest

I faithfully have paid my child support for my children for 23 yrs. I missed 5 of those years because of work. There was a writ made because of getting behind those 5 yrs. I faithfully paid that. My wages were being garnished. I fullfilled my obligations of the writ (so I thought) and the garnishment was stopped ing 2003. The writ began in 1997. I didn't question the stop because it was a good thing for me. Four years later, support kids start garnishing my pay again. They picked it up (bought it out) and began garnishing my pay again without my knowledge. I did'nt know anything about it until I pickedup my paycheck.
I Had Prepaid legal at the time and they sent a cease and disist letter to them. The garnishment stopped. A year later they did it again. All prepaid legal could do was refer me to a lawyer. Well, This lawyer wanted a 2000.00 retainer fee and 200.00 an hour.

Well, needless to say I couldn't afford that. They are now taking out 462.00 a month out of my pay. My finances are not cut in half. I've lost my phone, cable, got disconnect notices for electricity, water, I'm fixing to lose my car. My wife is 100% disabled and I am the only one working. I have crippling arthritus and it takes everything I've got to get up and try to make my 40 hrs. We can't afford health or life insurance and we both need to see doctors. My kids are 26 and 31 and probably have their own families. I don't know where they are or if they're deador alive. I need to take care of my wife and myself now.

In 23 yrs, I have paid over 51,000.00 for childsupport. Supportkids are making big bucks and the kids are not seeing a penny! My payment history records show my ex has not recieved a penny. They would rather make a killing and destroy lives than help. We are down to 30.00 a week for groceries. Who can live off that? We are struggling to survive while they life high on the hog! We need someome to help us fight this company so they won't continue to destroy others and con mothers and fathers making them believe they can help them. They are out for them selves! The attorney general's office told us they can legally do this as long as they have that writ in thier hands.

Please do not use this company! They will destroy you and not think twice about it. We are in our upper 50's and if this continues we will lose evrything! I work in construction and it doesn't pay much. This is going to kill us if something isn't done. If there is anyone who can help that won't charge us an arm and a leg please help us. It's about right from wrong! I'm sorry for anyone else who has had problems with supportkids. Hang in there, and depend on God. Thank you and Be blessed.
