Uop, axia Collage I started uop in october

I started uop in october all I can say is it was the worst experience I could have ever had with a school.
The reasons are as follows first and for most the financial aide process. They give you the run around I submitted every possible paper I could come up with that the school requested and every time I would fax a paper they would only request one more and then tell me that they had to be refaxed because (the documents also had to be signed) they allowed me to start my classes with out the financial aide ever going through and now I am 1500 dollars in debt!

I later find out through on line research that most of these units are not even transferable to most collages so you have to complete the program!

I fell terrible that this has happened to me I did want to finish the program because I had already started but then once they felt they had me right where they wanted me the school did not call me they would not return my calls once I stopeed taking classes because I refused to take more classes until all the appropriate paper work was turned in.

The financial aide advisor even stated after all this trouble " well it will be ok we will jiust go over other methods of payment" How about that once they new thay had me enrolled and already started (almost a"bait and switch technique" they use here) I could not believe I discussed the run around I was going through with my husband and he stated that this school seems clearly invested in taking students money than actually helping them complete their degree!

No school should be allowed to except students prior to their financial aide going through! The school should be held accountable (most student don't have this kind of money laying around)

During the course of my two courses I encountered numerous problems such as work that I submitted that was not acceptable unless it was reformatted a certain way!
I do not get it if you are paying this much for the school why don't they make sure their professors have an undated program that is compatible with other programs so that students can turn in their work timely!
I did complete my assignment but since they were not submitted in the appropriate format I did not receive credit for lots of my work.

I even tried to explain to the profeessor that I was new to this online learning enviormen t and to be more understanding but she would not budge! I received a D - for that class! They have tech support but some times the line is busy and it is hard to get through.

I feel that once the school felt they had me in their grasp that is when everything went down hill from there and now they are harrassing me and sending me numerous e-mails and calls at work and making my life very stressful.

Too bad I had to learn the hard way but I want to try help prevent someone else from having to go through this and help protect other military families!
