Hasd an appraisal and cannot contact since. He has all my personal information

I gave all my personal information and paid the appraiser cash.
I didn't receive a receipt nor statement or anything. I have contactd that Co. Also.
I have not heard anything since. No reply via phone or email from anyone.
No answer at any of the phone numbers.
No record of the Co. Through the phone companies - nothing at all.
Just like they fell off the face of the earth!
