I recently received a letter from RJM Aquisitions in Syosset, NY, regarding a debt, however, the information they sent to me pertained to a totally different person! The person's first name is Lisa, the same as mine, but her last name and address are totally different. I live in Ohio. She lives in Pennsylvania.included in the letter is this person's account number with the collection agency, her bank account number and several monthly statements from the bank-Citizens Bank, amount of debt and even her social security number minus the middle two digits. I can't believe they sent all of this personal information to the wrong person! What is going on here? Can something be done about this? Are there laws about this kind of thing? I have not contacted the company yet. Thank you very much for your help!
