Pro Quo Books (AKA "International Books" On Amazon.com)
Pro quo books... No place to buy books! Why this small, incompetent company should be put out of business

After ordering a fairly expensive book for a college course from Pro Quo Books, (also known as "International Books" on their Amazon.com store) I never received my order. This particular book was important because it needed to be used for school, as mentioned above.

It was also important to receive it as soon as possible becuase the class was starting within two weeks. After attempting several times to contact them by email (they don't dare list their phone number) I received a reply from someone.

The email explained that they had listed the WRONG book online (how irresponsible is this?) and because of their mistake the order was obviously NEVER SHIPPED. This was a week after I had given them a complete instant payment, and the only reason they even emailed me in the first place was because I CONTACTED THEM.

Instead of reimbursing me my money I was told asked "How do you want us to proceed with this mistake?" I left countless emails after that attempting to expalin to these thieves that when an order is NEVER SHIPPED AT THE SELLER'S FAULT THE MONEY SHOULD BE RETURNED INSTANTLY TO THE BUYER!

As expected the emails have gone unanswered and my money WAS NEVER RETURNED TO ME. I have since contacted the Better Business Bureau and reported them. They are thieves of the worst kind and this type of cowardice behavior has no place in the business world of honest consumers.

Please do not purchase ANYTHING from these people. They will take your money and you will never see your order.
