I enrolled in Graceland College in 5/97 to earn a master's degree & nurse practitioner certificate.in 10/98 a policy change took place I did not know about. The policy caused my expulsion when I got my second "C" grade. My student manual is dated 1997.

In 6/00 I enrolled in my last course, professional development. I got a C and was kicked out of the college in July. A grade dispute trial was held over the phone (September) with their college dean in Iowa and Missouri, the professor & a biased witness as a judge who already agreed not to allow me to re-enter (Miriam Jamison, teacher & nurse/attorney). I lost.

I filed a complaint w/Missouri Commission on Human Rights & the professor was caught lying about my grade (Dr. Vigan) This is where I learned that Miriam Jamison made a derogatory statement about me in June to Dr. Vigan. Graceland's legal counsel stopped the investigation. They are registered Mormon so the State cannot investigate Religious entities.

I filed a complaint with the CCNE and the US Dept. Of Education. The CCNE also revealed their lack of integrity but the U. S Dept of Education asked 8 questions & closed their investigation. Graceland's legal counsel, Karen Minton succeeded at leading them astray. I was not allowed a rebuttal.

I wrote a book entitled, "Civil Rights Violations at Graceland University" (Lopez-Bruce) in which I published the investigations and Gracelands erroneous statements. I was their first Hispanic student in the graduate program. Graceland took it off the market.

I had already taken professional developement at UCLA and got an A 12/96. This internet school cost me $40,000 and I lost 3 years of work ($70,000/yr).
I spoke to an attorney in Independence who told me it would cost $100,000 to file a lawsuit and he would never be able to work there again they are so powerful. I published this also in the book.
