My original order was placed on July 6; within 24 hours from submitting my request, $512.57 was charged to my Bank of America Check Card. The person that took the order told me my replacement sofa and chair covers would be delivered within 8-10 weeks.By late September, upon not receiving the products and no any additional communication, I followed up with a phone call to the company and ended up leaving several voice mail messages. No one ever returned my call.

In October, I received a voice mail message on my home phone while I was at work saying that the company that manufactured my fabric had gone out of business and that I would need to make another selection. So, still clinging to hope that I could have decent furniture by the holidays, I made my alternative selection and resubmitted it. On October 29th, I also forwarded a FAX to the company stating that if I did not receive the new order within a reasonable time period (the website said the fabric was available for shipping within 24 hours) that I would like to cancel my order and receive full reimbursement. I asked that someone contact me immediately.

By this time I had left about 10 voice mail messages and no one ever got back to me. So, I called again, but rather than pushing 2 to request the status of an order, I pushed 1 the line for placing new orders. Of course, I received a return call from them, only to ask what method of payment I would be using. It was during this time that I spoke with Patty and explained that I had already ordered and paid for covers previously. I also told her how frustrated I was with the process. It was also during this time that she fabricated a story regarding my order being delivered via express service to my home within the first week of December.

As the story goes, the first week of December came and went nothing ever arrived. During the second week of December, I did receive a voice mail message from the company stating that my order was in production and would be completed within the next four weeks. Today is January 20. I simply want my money back.

After reading several of the complaints from customers, Ive come across only one success story. Someone did receive a full refund after they had contacted the police, obtained a lawyer, written the BBB, etc. Im sure Ill have to go through the same drill. If you are considering using Cratefurniture.com to order anything PLEASE DO NOT. This company is a major disappointment.
