North Shore Agency Collection letter for subscription from Men's Health

This company sent me a collection letter on an alleged magazine subscription that is overdue. I sent a registered letter to them today (Jan 14) asking them to furnish proof of my subscription. The only proof would be a form with my signature on it. If they can't furnish it, I asked for a modest payment ($25.00) to cover the cost of the letter and my time dealing with it. I gave them a time limit for their payment, or I was going to report them to every state consumer agency for all the states listed on the back of their bill.
If everyone on the complaint files against this company, someone somewhere will take notice. This is total B.S. What is scary, how many people, maybe elderly or those who do not think so well had already sent payment to this company. And why is it just magazines?
