Fraudulent credit charging Ordered nothing but started getting monthly charges on credit card

My wife brought the visa bill to me and asked what this particular charge was for? We were being charged $9.95 by "MWI*ESSENTIALS". I had no idea who this company was and how they obtained our credit card number. Looking at past bills we have now noticed that we have been receiving this charge on a steady monthly basis. I went on the net to investigate just who this company was and have found out that they apparently buy credit card numbers from other companies (usually info-mercial companies) and promptly perpitrate fraud on a grand scale. The number of complaints I saw was astounding. Here is a list of the charges and the dates we have discovered on our statements:

04-19-02 $9.95
05-16-02 $9.95
06-14-02 $9.95
07-15-02 $9.95
08-13-02 $9.95
09-13-02 $9.95

It looks like until something is done this charge will continue to be levied against our card. We have absolutely no idea what we are being charged for but by the looks of the complaints on the net this company is charging credit cards for services or products not rendered or delivered. Definately a fraud business. I am supplying my credit union with the text of this same message to investigate.
