Charged me $11.95 on Nov. 29 without my authorization, after I went into their internet site to check out what they offered

Late November, I checked out a FreeCreditReport site, I began filling out the info statement for MNI*creditrpt services. I changed my mind, not finishing the info, and deleted what I had typed in. I left the site and a few days later, checked my credit card site and found an unauthorized charge of $11.50 on my acct. They somehow got my personal info, thus the charges!

I immediately notified the credit card company by email, giving them the facts: there had been no contact with the company, stating I hadn't done any business with them, definitely didn't authorize them to charge me for services (that I did NOT received.)

And to this date of Dec. 31 I have not received any type of info pertaining to their services for the payments they charged me for. I have just now have a second charge of $11.95 for Dec.

I was notified by my credit card co. That they are unable to pursue credit on my behalf because with this particular transaction, the charges represent preauthorized recurring billings (I preauthorized nothing!) that will continue to post to my account until they are directly canceled with the "merchant".

They sent me MNI's phone #1-800-720-4420 to cancel, my credit card co. Is not authorized to cancel in my behalf, and they have taken the transaction out of dispute. My credit card Co. Has been duped by them also.

In other words, they'll still accept the charges towards my acct, and I'll still be charged finance charges against these charges until I get them cancelled.
Good luck with that! It's a maxed out acct I'm trying to get it paid off, so
you can see whose on the short end of this stick!
