Purchased magazine in 8-07. Receipt said delivery in 120 days. I have never received magazine. Phone # disconnected

Purchased Woman's Day magazine from student in Aug. 2007. Paid with personal check in the amount of $44.00. Delivery was to be within 120 days. This is now Dec. 28th. I have never received the magazine and their phone is disconnected. I checked on the internet and found that many other people have also reported this scam.
