I ordered a book from this company as a gift. It was sent in a bag without enough padding and, therefore, arrived with a damaged corner. Upon contacting them, I received this reply, "Simply return the items for exchange or refund." Not even an apology for their crummy packaging.

There is certainly nothing '"simple" about returning an item, especially near Christmas. Plus, I would be forced to cough up even more cash for the postage and would NOT be reimbursed for that cost.

Also, I received the response on December 14th. It would cost me quite a bit more money to get a (hopefully) undamaged book in time for Christmas.

I am cutting my loses while I can. Given the improper packing, the fact that I have to pay return costs and no apology, the company has proven to be unreliable and unconcerned about customer satisfaction. I will not chance having a hassle with them about refunding my purchase price and original shipping costs.

I will not order from this place again and certainly suggest all potential customers look elsewhere too.
