Reposession of pick-up

My son s pickup was repoed after filing bankrupcty. His picku[p was not listed on the sheet of items. HE CONTINUED PAYING MORE THAN THE PAYMENTS Were for almost six months. Nothing was said, then on 11/19/07 they came and got it, we got the notice in the mail on 11/26/07. How can they do this by law and no notification. It was taken to Wichita, kansas and that is where we had to go mto get it back. We had to pay the full am, ount due, paper work, wrecker fee and he was not even licsened in oklahoma with the DOT. We now have the pick up but I would like to know if there is any thing I can do to get this kind of crap stopped. Looks like a good law suite would help to stop it. Any lawyers out there like to make 50% of what you can get out of these #@$&*people. Don, Guymon, Oklahoma
