Withdrew $432.07 for direct tv the bill was my sons and not mine they took over 200.00 in nsf charges as well

On 9-11-07 fcb paid Direct TV $423.07 from my account without my knowledge. The Direct TV bill was my sons bill. Direct TV transferred the bill to my account because we have the same last name. I called FCB and explained what had happened and they refused to return my money. I was told that Direct TV would have to return the money.

I contacted Direct TV several times without any results. I was told by Direct TV that "I needed to provide a copy of my sons bill." Only then would they return my money.By this time I was $700.00 over-drawn with First Convenience Bank.

The first week of October FCB refunded my $423.07 for 45 days. Pending any dispute from Direct TV. I was told that if Direct TV continues to dispute my claim that FCB would return my money to Direct TV. I was not refunded all of the over-draft charges and I still have one hot check out.

This has caused a "domino effect" for me. I am a single Mother and my child support is on direct deposit to my bank account as well as my payroll checks. Therefore as soon as anything hit the bank it was gone, leaving me without any money to support my family. I was in a very bad financial position for weeks due to this incident. I have still not completely recovered from it yet. As I said, I still have one hot check that I have to pick up for $260.00 that was to my propane company. Luckily, the lady at the propane company has a daughter that went through the same thing that I did with Direct TV in September. Therefore, they understand my situation and know that it is not my fault. Although they are giving my some extra time to pick up the check, I do have to pay another returned check fee to them.
