For those who have been following this company, it has changed its name several times within the last few years, from Return on Equity to Return on Capital to First Cap now to Capital Corporation of America. Edward Michael Daspin and Ron Stella continue to run the business although their names are absent from the website. Prospective partners and companies pay a fee to "join" and are pretty much on their own from there.

The company's website lists several "success" stories, including:

Graphic Arts - when was that?

Transportation Logistics company that it raised 1.5M for. It went bankrupt months later. All $1.5M was lost.

Entertainment Web Hosting - AKA porn. This is a collection of Penthouse photos purchased as part of a company that was "making" $1M in profits. Turns out all of that was really barter profits and the company wasn't making any money. Woops!!!

Multimedia Broadband Technology - the technology was "sold" to Capital Corp by the chairman of the company that wasted the original 18M, or was it? Has it made a penny for anybody?

Do you want to have anything to do with a company that has 3 out of 4 losers listed as its sucess stories?

If you have any interest in doing business with these people, ask:
Why they have to change the name of the company every year if it such a profitable 35 year old company?
Why Stella and Daspin aren't on the website since they run it?
Can you speak to former "partners" who have ostensibly left to run profitable spinoffs or mergers? There are MANY who have left.
Can they tell you about ANY profitable business they have had in the last 5 years?

And please let us know when they change their name again so we can all keep track.
